Sedudu Island
The Sedudu Island (known as Kasikili Island in Namibia) is an island in Botswana's Chobe River. Sedudu Island is a perfect venue from which to marvel a truly magnificent African sunset.

Territorial Dispute
The island was the subject of a territorial dispute between Namibia and Botswana, resolved by a 1999 decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) which ruled in favor of Botswana. The dispute was as a result of the lack of precision in the wording between the colonial powers- Germany and United Kingdom.

This uninhabited 5 km2 island borders Namibia. During the long rains, at around March, the island is usually submerged by floods.
