Day 1: Maun
You will pick up your hired vehicles in Maun and leave to the Moremi Game Reserve up north. Your
drive will take you through some wonderful areas of Mopane woodland where you might see a pack of
Wild Dogs or a rare Sable Antelope. You will also pass regions of Acacia savannah that are good places to
look out for Giraffe.
Day 2 & 3: Moremi
Moremi is a place of lush floodplains, riverine forests and woodland - and is in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Whilst here you can explore the area by car, boat or on foot to experience what makes Moremi so famous. You will head northeast towards the Xaxanaxa area of the Moremi Game Reserve, thought by many to be the most beautiful game park in Africa.Day 4 & 5: Savute
You will head north into the Savute region of the Chobe National Park where you will spend 2 nights. The days are spent exploring this fascinating region on drives to see how the arrival of the floodwaters affects wildlife movements and habits. Predators abound and the flooded Savute Channel is a lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. After that you will head further north closer to the Chobe River.
Day 6: Chobe National Park
Experience the Chobe National Park on a 4x4 game drive in the afternoon. The Chobe National Park is famous as the gathering site of the world's largest Elephant population along the river. These flood plains are also the only place in Botswana where you can see the Puku antelope. You will explore the wildlife haven of the Chobe River, there will be the opportunity for an optional boat cruise to view game from the water, providing a unique perspective for your safari tour.
